This website has been specifically commissioned by Swansea Council For Voluntary Service

The site has been designed to improve communication between voluntary / third sector representatives and the voluntary / third sector groups and interests that they represent.

This website will:

• allow local voluntary community organisations and other third sector organisations in the City and County of Swansea access to their sectoral representatives – local, regional and national – on-line via e-mail.
• host up-to-date information on all current strategic planning arenas and issues, consultation processes, documents, policies and decision making forums at local, regional and national levels.

Under one “virtual” roof you will be able to find up-to-date information on:

• Тhe local Swansea Compact process
• 'Shared Ambition is Critical' and 'Better Swansea Partnership' - Swansea's Community Strategy Partnership
• Swansea Bay Waterfront and Western Valleys spatial planning area themes
• The Welsh Assembly Government’s national compact - the Voluntary Sector Scheme

And in particular:

• The structures attached to these processes – strategic partnerships, forums and cross-cutting themes
• Working groups and topics
